We have been to Thailand and Bali two times each. Thailand is much cleaner and prettier (except for Bali's Ubud area). Love the Thai for swimming and snorkelling beaches and adore Phi Phi, Krabi, etc. Shopping is better in Thailand. Possibly a fraction dearer depending on the region but better quality too.
Bali; it’s haven for surfers, culture seekers, beach bums and adrenalin-pumpers. There’s so many activities to participate in all over the island, including volcano trekking, temple trawling, rice terrace hiking, scuba diving and snorkeling, drinking, dining and relaxing in the most idyllic of locations.
For Bali Zoo, it is mainly to experience Orangutans closely. Thinking of breakfast with Orangutans. My plan was to dedicate a day for Bali Zoo (including maybe breakfast with Orangutans) and then head over to the Bird Park. Another day would be staying at Mara River Safari Lodge (along with doing all POSSIBLE activities in a day)
